Q:  Could My Sensitivity to Psych. Meds be the Reason for My BP Dx?

on may 2000 i had a major depressive episode. i began to use seroxat 20 mg a day. month later approximately  i had the third meeting with my psychiatrist.in the third meeting my behaviour was a little bit strange and the DR increased my coktail by carbamazepine. this week i payed attention that my diagnosis is

"bipolar disorder most recent episode hypoman"

is it possible that the reason of the registration as a bipolar is my sensitivity to psichoactive drugs despite of the fact that i donwt feel any suffering.

i am very satisfied from my coktaik and i don't feel that bipolar is horrible at all/

The generic name for Seroxat is paroxetine, known in the U.S. as "Paxil".  As you know, this is an antidepressant medication.  So, you've asked if taking an antidepressant medication can be the reason for the appearance of "bipolar" symptoms.  That's easy:  yes.
